quite far ... also depends on which part of the Edgware Road, it's a long road starting at Marble Arch and goes on for a mile or so ... first of all I'd recommend you figure out which part of Edgware Road you want (preferably a postcode) and then use the journey planner on the Transport for London website www.tfl.gov.uk

Edgware Road runs from Marble Arch to Edgware in Middlesex, a distance of almost 10 miles. The central London end of Edgware Road by Marble Arch is just over 2 miles from Waterloo Station and is a great sightseeing walk. Walk accross Waterloo Bridge; turn left into the Strand to Trafalgar Square; just beyond Trafalgar Square turn right into the Haymarket to Piccadilly Circus; then into Regent Street to Oxford Circus and left into Oxford Street to Marble Arch.
If you require the northern end of Edgware Road at places like Colindale,Burnt Oak or Edgware, catch the Underground Northern Line
northbound Edgware Branch from Waterloo

From Waterloo To Edgware, blimey, quiet far, when I first read that I thought you ment Paddington!
Waterloo isnt that close, being the otherside of the westend and south bank of thames.
If you walk you can make it 2.5miles but that is walking through st james square, so less people to dodge no cars to dodge ect
that will take about 50mins
otherwise follow the roads will take over an hour I say
well thats to the bottom of Edgware Road, Marble Arch!
Why not get the tube?
Hope This Helps
Sam!
