London - distance from Britannia Hotel to...?

I am going to London on November and i wanna ask a few questions about locations.

(1) I am staying at the Britannia International Hotel. How far is this hotel to LEICESTER SQUARE and GREENWICH?

(2) How do i get there ? (easiest and if possible cheapest way)

If you go onto there website http://www.britanniahotels.com/hotels/london it tells you a lot of information on there. The best way to get around London is the tube, you can get day tickets that cost around £6. Also if you ask at reception they will be able to tell you all you need to know, that's what I did & they gave me maps :)

Which Britannia are you in- that will depend on most of your questions: Hampstead or Canary wharf? They are in different parts of London.



Both are some way from the places you mentioned, so I would suggest you get a map and plot out how bet to get to different places by train or Tube.



Check google maps, and www.tfl.gov.uk the London transport website.



Leicester Square is on the Northern Line (tube)

Greenwich can be reached by boat or by DLR (dockland light Railway) or by train from London Bridge

The Imax is close to Waterloo station, Waterloo underground will get you closest.



All can be reached by buses, but you will need to take several, so you may want to invest in a travelcard. Which one will depend on which hotel you are staying at!



Bring your map and tube map with you. London is a BIG place and easy to get lost if you don't know where you are.

The Britannia International Hotel is at (near) Heron Quays on the Docklands Light Railway; also not far from Canary Wharf with access to the London Underground - see map below.
