No, you can't get to a cinema from in transit and you really don't want to go through immigration and back unless you have a huge amount of time like 12 hrs

Before you try leaving the airport, check that you are "allowed" to leave the airport. If you are in transit you may not be allowed into the UK. as already mentioned it does take time to get through immigrations & you need to get back again.



Other than that there is no cinema, but there are shops and restaurants in the departure lounges.

There's nothing in walking distance. You could get the train into Crawley then the bus or taxi to the cinema but how many hours have you got between flights? It may be by the time you get to Crawley it's time for you turn around & head back to the airport. I'd be inclined to stay put & book into one of the lounges for some chill out time.
