londoners. Distance to Buckingham Palace?

Question

Pls can someone advise how long it will take to walk from London Victoria COACH station to Buckingham Palace??

And once there, i will need to get from there to Lettice Street (via Parsons green tube), pls can you advise nearest station from B palace - and distance (walking) from the tube to Lettice street.

Advice would be greatly appreciated :)

15-20 minutes at a leisurely pace. You'll get to the back wall first, and keep going to get round to the front.



To get to Parsons Green, retrace your steps as you will have gone past Victoria railway station on the way, on the other side of the road. The tube station is in there. Go to the District/Circle line Westbound platform and take a train going towards Wimbledon, as it's on the Wimbledon branch of the District line and no other train goes there. I don't know where Lettice Street is and I'm sure you can use Google maps or http://www.streetmap.co.uk/ just as well as I can.

Turn left outside Victoria Coach Station and it is than 10 minutes walk down Buckingham Palace Road to Buckingham Palace. To go to Parsons Green from the palace retrace your steps from the palace to Victoria Station (4 minutes away) and catch the Underground District Line (Wimbledon Branch). Buy yourself an 'A to Z Street atlas' of London from W.H. Smiths which will help you find your way to specific streets from the closest station or bus stop
