We will be visiting Europe a couple of days later. Since the last stop is in London, wonder if U.K accepted Euro currency for fares, food and sundries.

The UK currency is the pound sterling not the Euro. You may find that some larger shops/stores will accept the euro but you certainly would not be able to pay any fares with it.

The Brits desperate to stick with what they're ultimate at - being Brits and subsequently rejected the Euro, whilst nonetheless be an element to the ecu. subsequently - you may't use Euro's in the united kingdom - in basic terms Pound Sterling. you're, in spite of if, able to replace your Euro for the cherished Pound Sterling at a large number of places. the two way, the $US won't carry you very a great way....

Silly if you try to, because only certain big stores would take it, and at a very favourable rate to them! Change some of your money into Sterling for your stay and use a credt card. That is what anyone else would do.

You know it isn't our currency, so why would we accept it?

Not really. Fortunately Euros and Pounds are easy to exchange.
What's the point?

SOME do, yes, larger shops like Marks and Spencer will take them, but most places won't.

Probably best to change them to £'s!

Generally no.

But, if they do, the rate of exchange will be awfull!
