Hi,
With 300GBP in my pocket which for 2 persons spend ( meals, slight entertainment and shopping, tubes or taxi ), how many days should I consider my stay in London? 3 night stay or 4 night stay , which one is better? and also my plan will be like this:

Day 1: walking tour ( oxford street,Hyde park,etc )
Day2: Museum tour
Day 3: Booking tour from http://www.theoriginaltour.com ( go around London )
Day 4: going to bayswater

£300 won't go far in London but it depends very much on your lifestyle, whether (or how much) you want to eat out, whether you want to go to attractions with a high entry fee (e.g. Madame Tussauds), how much shopping you want to do etc ... if you're very careful with your money you might be able to make it last 4 nights

I would recommend you do the open top bus tour first ... it's a great way to get your orientation and see what's on offer, but I wouldn't recommend you get off the bus too much or else you won't be able to do all the routes on one day which would be a pity ... after you've had the tour it would be much easier for you to decide exactly which places you want to go back to by ordinary public transport to see in more depth

have you checked out the cost of Oyster cards and travelcards? ... you'll find details on the Transport for London website www.tfl.gov.uk ... there's also the tube map

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.pdf

on that limited budget you will be looking for free or low-cost options ... all the major museums are free (but not if you want to go into special exhibitions) ... places like the South Bank, Covent Garden and Camden Market are also free (as long as you're not tempted to splurge on capuccino's and trinkets) ... find a supermarket and buy your drinks and snacks there

good luck and enjoy yourselves

Accommodation will be your biggest money drain. If you don't stay in a hotel, you can make your money go much further than 4 days! Have you thought of a decent hostel, or travelodge? We kept a journal of the ones we used and things we did cheaply at this site:

4 night stay is ideal.
