is the M25 less busy saturday afternoons going anti-clockwise than mornings?

I am travelling from J15 to J5 of the M25 on saturday and know from experience that late morning and lunchtime is normally very congested, does anyone know if it gets any better normally in the afternoon?

Totally unpredictable. Today I did lots of driving on the M25 and it was unbelievably quiet mid-afternoon. Another day, who knows. One little incident and everything changes so quickly. But if there are no special incidents it should be moving.

I agree with the above answer. The M25 is almost always very congested and bad weather or a minor accident or a little patch of roadworks will make it even worse. Get yourself a good road atlas and devise another route, or take the train
