ALL Standard Chartered email addresses are @standardchartered.com -- nothing else

If they emails are not from an @standardchartered.com address, then it's a fraud. Standard Chartered's name is used fraudulently in thousands of internet scams - lottery scams, job scams, inheritance scams, etc

Call the real Standard Chartered London office to confirm you are being scammed

Address: Standard Chartered Bank, 1 Basinghall Avenue, London, EC2V 5DD

Telephone Number: +44 (0)20 7885 8888

Fax Number: +44 (0)20 7885 9999

Standard Chartered Bank is a huge international bank. They do not publicise any email addresses on their website - if you need to contact them then use the ordinary postal address or telephone numbers they give on the "contact us" link on www.standardchartered.com

It should really go without saying that if you have received an email supposedly from them out of the blue that it is INVARIABLY FRAUDULENT and is not really from the bank.

Do the late Dr Robert Johnson have an active account at your bank

The Standard Bank UK is a Scam used by Nigerian fraudsters. There have been hundreds of these on here. There is no refugee camp, no Mary Goodluck. It is called money laundering and if you take part you will be prosecuted by the UK police and HMRC. UK

Yes, completely agree- if it's an e-mail job offer then it' s 100% fraudulent.

Most UK banks do not make offers by e-mail- it's not legally binding. They would send out an offer letter. Secondly, they would have interviewed you first.
