Not much different from any other bus, except that you can see the bus bend when it goes round corners. They're really annoying for pedestrians though, as they're far too long for central London streets, sometimes they block road junctions when they stop at a bus stop near one, and this is why Mayor Boris Johnson has promised to get rid of them.

The London Underground is just about to get bendy trains! At present, all London Underground trains are separate carriages like any other train and to get between carriages (which you're not supposed to do) involves opening doors between them. The new S stock which is going to appear soon on the Metropolitan, Circle, District, and Hammersmith and City lines has bendy bus type connections between carriages.

Ive only ever been on it once or twice and its not much difference than a normal bus. the only difference is in the middle where it joins the front from the back when it bends. And its also rather long. I heard that Boris Johnson the Mayor) might scrap them but Im not sure yet and was going to re introduce route masters again but I don't know whats happening about that.

Bendy-busses operate the same as regulars, however they are not ideal for the old small steets within the City of London. In Germany some cities meanwhile have double-bendy busses with a length of 24.5 meters (80 feet).

Not much different to a normal one, although watching the bus 'bend' is interesting the first few times. The main thing that I noticed is how many people get on through the middle doors (out of sight of the driver) and instead of swiping their Oysters on the readers, they don't pay. I'm sure the guy who designed this thing must have been a fare-dodger earlier in his life.

I presume which you have the two the 11-15 Zip Oyster photocard (considering the fact which you have been below sixteen on the initiating of the present college twelve months) or the sixteen+ Oyster photocard considering the fact which you're nevertheless in complete time guidance. those entitle you to loose return and forth on buses and trams, yet purely to decreased fares on trains, the DLR and on the Underground. in case you have credit on the cardboard it does no longer be deducted on a bus adventure - in spite of everything, you're able to desire credit on the cardboard to return and forth by skill of prepare, and that they could desire to have the skill to tell apart between what you're entitled to do for loose, and what you're able to desire to pay for.
