I'm in London for a few days, and we need to do some grocery shopping, as where I live, you can't get some goods such as chocolate chips, baking powder, etc. So we need to find a store that sells these things. Help?

Asda is the part of the Walmart family, it's pretty much the British version of Walmart. And is one of the most popular ones our here in the UK.
And then the other 3 big popular ones are Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys and less popular but also big supermarket chains are Co-op, Lidls, Aldi's, Icelands and Waitroses (quite expensive)
Waitrose as it's quite expensive, if you looking for cheapness I would go Lidls or Aldis (and they are not bad places, Aldis and Lidls are seen as "bad" by some because the food is not brand but it is but because its imported food from Europe it's just not brand in the UK and are big supermarkets chains in mainland Europe -the guy who owns Aldi's is the 10 richest guys in the world)

there is a store called Asda.Asda Stores Limited is a British supermarket chain which retails food, clothing, general merchandise, toys and financial services. It also has a mobile telephone network. Asda became a subsidiary of the American retail giant Walmart, the world’s largest retailer,[2] in 1999,[3] and is the UK's second largest chain by market share after Tesco.

there are lots of supermarkets in London including Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda, Co-op, Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons if you want something more up market there's Waitrose and Marks&Spencer more up market than that is the Wholefoods Market (there are s few scattered around London) then very posh high end would be Fortnum & Mason and the food halls of Harrods Harvey Nichols & Selfridges
you should be able to get what you need in all these stores

There are many small loacl shops that will provide you what you are looking for. Ask around for the local supermarket or convenience stores.. Look out for Tesco & Sainsburys Local stores that have popped up all over Central London.
Or there is a Waitrose in John Lewis Department store in Oxford street. then of course there is great food at most of the Large Marks & Spencer stores in London. You will be able to get baking stuff in most of these stores.

Our supermarkets are Waitrose (for posh people), Lidl (which sells the contents of bins), Aldi (which also sells the contents of bins), Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons and Tescos. The last four are the only ones I'd really go in if I were you, in fact Asda is owned by Walmart so that's probably what you're looking for if I've interpreted your question correctly.

No we do not because most regiments have their own mottoes, for example in the 3rd Bn The Yorkshire Regt they will say 'VFC' to each other abbreviation for 'Virtutis fortuna comes', Fortune favours the bold (depending on what translation you read). However it is not normal habit for soldiers to do this in the same style as the USMC.

I think Walmart is the parent company of Asda.

The Royal marine motto is Per Mare, Per Terram ("By Sea, By Land")
