you wouldn't use a cab or taxi to get from any of the London airports to your destination, partly because it would cost too much, and partly because they all have very good rail and coach links ... none of the five London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton or City) are that close to Kings Cross but all of them have quick and easy links ... for instance Heathrow is on the underground network and you can take a tube train direct from the airport, here's the tube map http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.pdf ... Gatwick and Luton are both served by the First Capital Connect train which also goes through St Pancras (which is right next door to Kings Cross), a good website for train tickets is http://www.thetrainline.com/buytickets/ ... Stansted has the Stansted Express train

All London's airports are connected to the city centre by train or Underground (subway). The airport you select will rather depend on where you are coming from. You can get from Luton Airport
(Luton Airport Parkway Station) to Kings Cross (St Pancras Station), Heathrow to Kings Cross
and Gatwick to Kings Cross (St Pancras) without changing trains, although the Gatwick through service to St Pancras currently operates on weekdays only

(Avoid cabs. They are very expensive and badly affected by traffic congestion)
